HAYLEY STONE is an award-winning author, editor, poet, and game writer from California. She is best known for her weird western cult hit, Make Me No Grave, as well as her adult sci-fi series, Last Resistance.
Hayley graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a Bachelor’s degree in history—a subject she believes offers a wealth of story inspiration as well as a powerful look into what makes us human. In addition to novels, she writes short stories and speculative poetry. Her short fiction has appeared in Apex Magazine, Fireside Fiction, and various anthologies. Her poetry is widely available online from Liminality, Eternal Haunted Summer, and more.
Over the course of her career, she has served as a judge for the NYC Midnight Short Story and Flash Fiction Challenges, as a senior acquiring editor for an independent publisher, and as a mentor during Pitch Wars.
She currently works as a narrative designer at Obsidian Entertainment, writing for The Outer Worlds 2.
